Out to Lunch

A sheep having lunch on the Isle of Harris, Scotland in the Direcleit area.

I am certainly convinced that there are more sheep in Scotland than people. Not only that, they certainly own the single track roadways.... We don't have single track roads here in the US except in the most remotest locations (maybe Alaska, but I don't remember too many), so that was an interesting aspect in its own right on my trip. Enjoyable none the less.

An extremely stark landscape..... moonscape like to some degree but oh so beautiful..

Eva, I like this landscape, what is not to like about a place named the Isle of Harris. I like the subtle colors intermixed with the rocks and the composition with the sheep in the lower left and the structure in the upper right creates a balance for me.

Wow! I love it. There's a very nice visual relationship between the sheep and the house and the contrast is stunning!
