This image sure says "Autumn".
Nice moose with good detail and great fll colours.
The bright yellow just over his face is a bit too bright IMO - might be dampened a bit to not draw the eye so much.

Nice looking animal. Ilike the detail of the Moose and the color of the animals. I might be tempted to crop from the left and only leave one tree in the image. Also the over exposed leave do tend to draw the eye.

I like the autumn coloration here Guy as well as how the antlers are rendered. It is a bit unfortunate that the subject is so dark, as we are looking at his shaded side, and the BG so bright. I would suggest to try and reduce the difference a little; i.e. darken the BG (particularly those yellow leaves!) and try to retrieve some detail in the dark areas of the moose.

Thanks for the input guys, much appreciated. I tried to adjust for the bright leaves and dark moose in the repost, what do you guys think?

Guy: I REALLY like this image. I spent several minutes wondering if I would have composed it this way or not, and fear I might not have seen the wonderful potential I feel you have realized here. I'm viewing this on a laptop so am hesitant to comment much on the tonality and contrast issues mentioned, but I think I do prefer the repost.

A wonderful, descriptive image.

Nice image you have here Guy. It is very hard to get a Moose image while in the forrest without it looking so busy and to get enough light through the trees, so I would bet you did not have prime conditions for this, yet you ended up making a very nice image out of it. I do agree with Vincent's suggestions and the repost looks much better IMO...now you just need to print it large!!
