Milkweed Seeds

These pure white seeds caught my eye on the dark red raspberry foliage.

After a couple of light frosts, fall is coming on fast here in N. IL.

Nikon D700; Nikkor 200mm; ISO 200, 1/80 @ f/5.6; tripod

Really, really nice, David. The colors are not over stated and the red leaf really accents the white cilia. Well balanced composition!

Fine composition and muted color David. I wish there was a bit more dof but that's pretty subjective on my part. Very appealing seasonal mood.

Great detail and color. I like the comp. a lot. The three seeds balance the image very well. Fine image.

Nice! those seeds actually seem to glow against that dark red foliage. Beautiful detail, although it might have been nice if the dof took in the seed in the back as well as the front two, but it's a wonderful image as is.
