Canon EOS 7D, EF 500mm f/4L IS USM, Aperture Priority @ f/8 (1/1250 sec), -2/3 EV, ISO 400, Beanbag, JPEG from RAW, Copped about 40% from Full Frame

Actually, much as the subject on the left reminds me of my old army drill sergeant shouting in my face, what's actually going on is that the one on the left is regurgitating food to feed the one on the right!

As to their respective sexes and relationship, well, your guess is as good as mine, however, what I can tell you is that they are most commonly known as Grey Go-Away Birds (a member of the Turaco family and are also known as Lourie) for the simple reason that when alarmed they have a distinctive call that does indeed sound very much like, “G'way, g'way, g'way!”

Came across this pair while driving through Kruger National Park in August.

Critique and comments always welcome.

Interesting to see one head dress up and the other down and the thorny bush they landed in. Very good detail on the larger version, nice job in getting this shot.

I really like the interaction you caught here! Good detail in the birds. For me the clear blue sky sets them off just fine.
Thanks for sharing.
