I found some good color candidates for a fall reflection shot last month in my yard. It's amazing what little things you can find if you go sniifing around in the weeds. Handling that fluffy seed thingy was a challenge, I tell you! I finally got one to cooperate!

Really nice elements. Is it a mirror reflection?

No, actually. It's not a mirror reflection. All you need is a reasonably dark surface with clear coat on it and a built in flash on the camera and an editing program. All my reflections are off the trunk of my car, believe it or not!

I wouldn't have guessed this was the trunk of your car, Shirley! What a great idea! This is really neat. A fun technique. Makes me want to try it!

Beautiful arrangement. Are you using a mirror or black tile? either way, the reflection is masterful. This is truly lovely

Go ahead. You'll be surprised at what you can get. As long as the surface is pretty dark (mine's hunter green) and the clear coat is reflective, you should have little trouble with it. It saves money, too--my favorite!
