Ruffled feathers
by Stephen Kaluski
OK, this breaks all the rules I guess, HA, body going away, no real behavior, but I kind of like it. For me it illustrates the well camouflaged plumage and how well it blends into he environment and the lovely ruffled, layered feathers having had a good old shake down.

Cheers Skip, just one of those images you have doubts about, but need feeback good or bad to make that final decision.
My only concern overall is the slight 'halo' for a better phrase is along the back of the neck. Having gone back to the original RAW, it is actually in there, so it is not due to any artifact through processing, just annoying!
Thanks again guys.
