I like the contour of the petals which seem to mimic a flame. The vibrant color and dramatic light work well here.

Striking, artistic image. I think I'd reduce the black BG a bit as I find the BG a little dominant, but that's a subjective thing. Technically, this looks good although I might reduce the brightness of the glare in the top flower a pinch. A very attractive image.

Thanks for the comments. Scott: You know how sometimes you're blinded by the experience... well, the backlighting caught my attention and held it so I'm glad you brought me back to basics. I have reworked the original so when I print it the upper calla won't be so glaring. Thanks.

Some superb curves there, Patricia - very Calla like. Love the lighting too though I might pull back the exposure a little bit on the topmost Calla. Superb photo

Pat, I love the play of light on the flowers. The exposure is just spot on with nothing too dark and the brights just pop without being overexposed at all.... really well done

The back lit contrast is just what I like more, Patricia: beautiful. The yellow is the most flammable color. May be you wanted to keep a contrast so high, otherwise you know very well how to lower the fire. I love it.
