Red-shouldered hawk with dragonfly. Color cast? I didn't do any noise removal even though there is some noise. Do you think it needs noise removal? Instead of doing pros and cons this time I'll just ask for your comments and suggestions.

Thank you!

The sky color is on the strange side with a lot of cyan in the mix, but not knowing what you saw I can't say if it is ok or not. The colors of the hawk are difficult to judge against that bright sky so I can't say much about how they look.

I agree that the sky is a weird color, but I like your pose with prey. Looks like you were dealing with some motion on the hawk's part, as the forefoot and legs of the dragonfly are sharp enough, but the head of the hawk seems soft. Comp is nice. At the sizes you have presented, noise is not an issue for me. Sharon

Many, many thanks to Richard for step-by-step instructions. I may not have gotten the Curves exactly right, but here is a repost based on his instructions.

That's much better and looks more natural to my eye. The subject is nice and I like the action. The post makes a great perch. Composition works nicely.

Wow, GREAT!! Re-post is much better. Really nice pose, good angle, nice sky and good colours.
I also haven't seen a hawk with a dragonfly before - They must be pretty tasty if the hawk bothers with such small prey.
Excellent catch!!
