Storr Falls
by Eva McDermott
These dripping, beautiful falls are near Old Man Storr on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. Taken on a Transient Light Workshop fooling around with shutter speed. For the life of me, I cannot remember what shutter speed I used (or lens but it looks close to some of my digital images taken with my 70-200mm close to 150mm so probably Ian's 300mm) but I like this shutter speed effect. Guess when taking film I need to record conditions. I did in the distant past but not here. I actually a little notebook with me but never took it out of backpack...... I swear I see faces in some of the rocks...... So I guess my mind is really going!

Ektachrome 100G
Scanned on an Epson V750 using Silverfast Ai Studio 8 and betterscanning.com holder (adjustable focus) with ANR glass
Minimal processing in CS5 (Dodge and Burn with TK's layers). Wow, sounds just like darkroom work minus the chemicals.
Thanks for having a look and for your comments and critiques on my previous posts.

I'm guessing your shutter speed is between a 1/6 and a 1/4 second judging by my own efforts here. That speed maintains the silken thread appearance. I love the verdant green frame surrounding the falls flecked with rusty bracken. Great shot.
