The sunsets are always gorgeous in my place. Here is a triptych of one just after a good rain

Lucy,
You had me fooled with this one! Until I read your comment, I thought, "What a beautiful view through your living room window!" But it's not a window, it's a triptych. This works wonderfully! But the window threw me in to M&N mode and I immediately notice the fence, railing or something along the tree line. Visually since there is little or no detail in those dark areas, you might consider cloning out the railing as for me it detracts from the beautiful sky and puddles. But I think I will go ahead and move this to the Man & Nature gallery - not because of the "windows," but for the fence/railing. Hope that makes sense.
Great choice in the triptych though, I like it.

Beautiful sky and reflections. Nice to see you're getting some rain.

Nancy, unfortunately , this was a photo from last year. This year, we haven't had enough rain to make a puddle. The Houston area usually gets "a lot"of rain. We have only had about 2 inches since last October. 2010...and it's the end of October 2011!
No rain is forecasted in sight. So I'm getting 125 bales of hay to last me through April for my 4 horses. the feed stores are already rationing it to 5 bales a person . Luckily, I have a supplier with irrigated pastures. This is the last cutting of the year til next April!
FYI, the price of beef is going down around here as folks cannot even get cow quality hay. One friend has slaughtered half her herd, and just keeping her breeding stock!
I's going to be a tough winter! But, I should be OK. Just hope others can get enough hay. Do a rain dance so our pastures will not be so bad! :

Lucy,
I like the walkway here better than it being cloned out in the landscape version. It leads me into the image and right to those beautiful clouds. Fingers crossed for rain soon!
