Really interesting image, Bill! I especially like the abstract nature of the ripples, reflection and shadows. Good one.

A very nice depiction of a really harsh environment. I love the abstract nature of the terraces.

Recognized the spot instantly. I love all of the patterns and colors in the run off. The snags, their shadows, and their reflections are an interesting addition.

This is awesome---BUT, the greatest strengths of this shot are its symmetry and abstract quality. By grounding the shot (showing the base of the snag) and not balancing it (more top than bottom) it hurts those strengths. That's why id crop a bit of the bottom (above the base), and then from the top, to the top of the left snag to balance. Then I'd rotate 90 degrees and see how long it takes for folks to get it. I like this version too tho

Really like the abstract quality. An artistic image well seen and executed.

Nice! The only bit that kinda bugs me is the tans coming in up top. they break up the smoothness of the water and color. A few feet higher and then cropping that out would be perfect to me.

Like a couple of paintbrushes standing in pots of paint. Very cool shot, Bill. I could see going a bit stronger with the saturation, but I like it fine as-is.

Excellent, Bill. What a stunning image. It is both beautiful and yet retains that sense of mystery.

I think this is a really nice image and composition. My only wish is for a little bit more dramatic lighting. But having said that I like it a lot as is. Nice job.

Bill:
This is a fabulous abstract. The ripples are very colorful and the asymmetry make this very interesting. I like the idea of cropping away the top brown patch.

I like the abstract qualities and starkness Bill especially the long shadows cast by the sentinels and the reflection. Beautiful pastel color and interesting textures.
