Nice effect, enjoy your wider shots, personally i do not like the boat (i woudl clone it all away) and perhaps increase the contast on the knots to make them standout a bit more.

You certainly got a fine set of shots on your Norfolk trip and this is one of them. If I was going to make a print of this, I would remove the faint structures on the horizon in front of the ship, and crop away the bottom part of the frame to remove the foreground water.

I like the boat too. It's a lovely scene overall and I would also crop some from the bottom.

Graham - is it me or do I detect some very feint God rays running top right to bottom left?
If they are there it would be great if you could bring them out in processing.

Smashing shot Graham. I think I am in the "keep the boat" camp. Man and Nature and all that.
Is it me or does the horizon need a tiny bit of straightening?

Thanks for comments chaps.
Andy - I'll have a look when I get home. The work screen is 'dodgy'. If they are there, I'm not sure how I'd bring them out subtly ?
Pete - It looks like it does at first glance, but I think its the way the sun is shining on the water (and not on the mud) that has created an illusion of a slight slope - if that makes sense !
Cheers
