Perigrine Falcon

This is another image of the Perigrine Falcon I stumbled on a couple of weeks ago at the local wildlife refuge. This was a special day as it was my first Perigrine sighting and capture. I have since had reports that the day preceding my shoot, a second Perigrine and this one were high performing aerial interactions.

CAN ANYONE HELP WITH HOW TO GET RID OF THE QUESTION MARK OVER IMAGE, JUST DID AN UG TO PS CS5

Larger version available, "Thanks for stopping!"

canon 600mm f4.L IS USM
F/11 1/200 ISO 320
auto window beanbag lens rest, cable, PS CS5, LR2, NIK suite

Excellent portrait, love the perch and the details in the falcon are great.

Your large version rocks! I don't think your question mark shows for everyone....it started for me when I upgraded to Lion. I've learned to live with it, and it only shows on the smaller version. I haven't checked around recently to see if anyone has come up with a solution. Sharon

When I saw the thumbnail I thought this was captive because it's such a perfect setting and the bird is large in the frame. Congrats on the find and capturing it so well. The habitat and details on the perch are excellent.

As for the Question Mark, where are you seeing it? I know the ? will show up on top of an image if I go on NPN using my iPhone, I believe it's a problem with flash.

Thanks Sharon,
I forgot I did also just UG to Mac Lion, perhaps thats where the problem lies. I will ask for any suggestions for a fix in the imaging forum.

A great opportunity and a fine image. I can't get near a wild peregrine anywhere I see them so this was a very special bird and encounter.

The ? shows up on the smaller version with iPhones and some installs of Lion and it is caused by the transparent gif file that NPN applies as an overlay to your jpg image to discourage image theft. There's something about the way that NPN does this that doesn't sit well with iOS and Lion.

Congrats on a fine image. I'd maybe allow more room for the virtual tail.

Great shot Craig, the bird seems really relaxed here, excellent detail, I agree with maybe a little more room for the virtual tail. :toast:

Excellent detail on the larger version, I have yet to see one of these, what a wonderful find, well done. I do not see the question mark and we use Mozilla at work.
