Evening at the lakes

Long time I do not post a picture... Now this one comes.

This is the area of the Lakes Trebecchi about a month ago, in the Gran Paradiso National Park, northwestern Italy, at an elevation of about 2700 meters. In the evening, coming back after a one-day hike.

The image comes from the stitching of six photos taken with a Hasselblad SWC equipped with an old Ixpress V96C back...

This is a very impressive capture of the scene to me, Antonello. I especially enjoy the fine balanced composition and the natural colors. The reflection of the sky in the lakes adds a lot and really brings it to life for me.

I really enjoy the light in this, Antonello. It's so nicely balanced that there is a nice unity throughout the scene.

I could see cropping up on the foreground a little. The background sky and light on the mountains is really beautiful. I like your processing a lot.

This is a perfect example of what a pano should be. Great vista, powerful drama in that sky. I'd love to see a large print.
