I love the pastel colors in this! Nice mood. The only minor issue I have is the watermark in the larger image...it would be better if positioned in a lower corner.

Really like the subtle purples and greens Gary. Very painterly and ethereal.

The colors and composition work together very well here with the central tree as a perfect focal point.

Eva came up with the words I was groping for; I'll just add "sublime."

Very calm and moody! Sometimes I feel that every image should be about that, just to relax looking at it, nothing more.

Very, very pretty Gary. I personally think the magenta could be toned down some, but that's a personal choice. The fog and overlapping textures make this very peaceful.

Gary,
This is a very tranquil and pleasing scene. Soft light and a soft mood with the layers of trees being separated by the misty haze is working very nicely here. I don't know if I consider this a nit or not, but this does have a magenta cast to it. But honestly as much as I always try and nuetralize magenta, I think it may play to the images mood and advantage here. So I'll just call it an observation. Like a painting indeed.
Now I'm gonna have to move this ...... JUST KIDDING! Thanks for posting!

Gorgeous color cast here, and such a quiet, peaceful scene. Very painterly. I might consider cropping a little off the bottom to reduce the 50/50 look a little. Absolutely beautiful image.

Very beautiful. The magenta cast over the entire image is something special, works well with the other pastel colors and the muted feel to the scene.

Thanks everyone,
Michael and Lon, I did try reducing the magenta cast a little whilst processing this but it just didn't have the same feel to it. Thanks again for your feedback.
Cheers, Gary.

Beautiful very painterly image. I like that I can see the mountains in the background, but have to work a bit to look at them closely.

Magenta is a bit strong for my tastes, but a marvelous shot nonetheless.

An absolutely gorgeous shot, Gary. One of my favs on this site for a while I think. Love the beautiful soft light and tones, and the magenta mood is really magical. I hear baroque classical music looking at this, perhaps some Handel. I'm sure this would make a fantastic print!
