Wow! This is pretty cool! I love the softness of the feathers against the rough bark. It's a great study of textures! Well done! I like the simplicity of the shot as well.

Like your thought process with placing the feathers on the moss covered bark of the fallen tree. MIght have tried placing them on an angle just as an alternative placement to see which you would like better. Nice saturation, colors and dof.
