Great Tit

Great Tit (Parus major): A fairly widespread bird, from what I've been reading. I believe this one is a subspecies (Parus minor), and due to the pale yellow underparts, a female or juvenile. There was two of them, they caught my attention from the other side of a river I was walking along. They were very patient with me while I made my way over to them and shot them from several angles…though most angles are through branches.

I've been wrong before, so if anyone has a better idea...shot this one in Seoul, Korea...

Hi Mark,
Yes, you've got a Great Tit there. I like the graphic dimensions of the perch here, I'd consider cloning out the small oof branch in the rhc.

For future reference you are only allowed to post 1 image per thread in the critique forums, if you would like to post more than 1 image to get an ID in the future you can post them in the Bird Photography Discussion Forum.

Great job on the comp with the branch leading out of the corner. The position of the bird and leaf works well.
