Yet another view of Chapel Pond in the Adirondacks taken this fall. The calmness of the scene only lasted a few minutes before the winds picked up and ruined the reflections. Thanks for any comments or suggestions!

Compression is hurting this a bit, please view Larger!

Techs:
4 vertical frames stitched
Nikon D300s
Polarizer

Zack, this is beautiful! I like the golden trees which stand out among the green pines and the diagonal lines formed by the rocks. The reflection is great as well!

Zack, I really like how this is different from other reflection images because of the clear interplay between green and yellow and also between the tree textures and the rock ones. Beautiful!

Excellent. I enjoyed the prior shot from here, but prefer this one for it's intimacy and symmetry.

Beautiful, Zack. These colors are wonderful and the reflection is awesome. I really like the rocks along the shoreline as a breaking point between the trees and the reflections. That water is so still....Just excellent.

I really like the symmetry and the sense of movement in the trees and their reflection. Almost like ripples. Lovely color and light as well. :toast:

Gorgeous fall shot! I wish I had been into photography when I lived in NY so I could get some of these. The larger version is amazing.

Great colors and reflections. Love the lines of the trees vs the diagonals of the rock wall. Seems a little weighted to the right, but I'm not certain if a small crop from the left would help.

if you stare at the rock in the center you can see half a face....it has one green eyebrow and half a green mustache...and a downward turn of the mouth....well I see it anyway... :jump:

The color, detail, and reflection are all wonderful here Zack! Chapel Pond has a lot of character, and you captured that very well here!

I cannot see how you can improve on this one at all. This is a stunner from comp to processing.

Sweet comp and light. The darks feel a bit too dark to me making the image a bit gloomier than it need be, but hat's a personal preference type decision as to where to put that. The yellows make for nice break in color/mood throughout the image.
