Engadin twilight

Engadin twilight - Engadin lakes, Switzerland.

This image is 20 minutes after my previous post.
I tried to make this lighter for the web, because the other one looked quite dark here.
I hope I didn't blow the highlights too much. Difficult to find the good balance with this dark images.

Thank you for your comments!

I really like the mood this conveys Shantikara. The blurred clouds, the hint of color in the sky and the calmness of the scene make for a very interesting image. I agree that dark images can be a challenge and also that they are best seen large.

I really like the deep blues in this shot Shantikara, the reflected light is nice too. I think a slight crop off the left may make this a little stronger.

Shantikara, i love the mood of this image. I especially like the reds in the clouds in the distance. A different shot from this landscape in Engadin since this is famous for its autumn images with those golden trees

I like the reds in the distance and the movement in the clouds. I think the large version shows just the right amount of detail for this time of day. Very nice.

Fascinating. The light and comp here are really compelling. It's an interesting photograph visually and technically.

It's a beauty Shantikara. I agree that dark images are tough, especially on monitors. I think the deep rich blacks translate much better to prints.

I like the dark mood and blurred clouds...and agree with the suggestion that a left crop could make a stronger comp here.
