Silence in the Valley

Last weekend I made a trip to Höllental in Lower Austria. It was a bright afternoon, although without any direct sunlight in the narrow valley. Together with my husband Peter I enjoyed the tranquil scene and the interplay of colors.

Lovely, quiet picture. Good comp and a nice mix of colors. Hard to tell, but it feels like it needs a bit of CCW rotation.

Lovely composition. I enjoy the soft, cool colors, but the cyan intensity on the rocks (on my new monitor, which I am still trying to get used to) seems a bit out of place. Even if the colors are accurate, I think darkening the FG rocks a bit might help the viewer concentrate on the other beautiful elements here.
