Traigh Scarista, Isle of Harris, Scotland.

A large scale abstract of reflection, clouds, and light on the expansive Traigh Scarista at low tide (BTW - Traigh means beach in Gaelic).

This image was taken shortly after our Scarista Salt Marsh excursion on a Transient Light Workshop.

Your always manage to find an interesting composition in seemingly simple scenes, Eva. The sky here shouts for our attention, but you put it in context with the sea and shore to bring us into the whole scene, as if we are standing there absorbing it all. (I might have concentrated on the top half of the picture, failing to capture the true nature of this place.)

wonderful layers in this image. the sky is breathtaking but the sand and waves anchor it and give it a sense of place. This is very well composed and a fine image.

Eva, the sharply outlined layers in your image just make the difference for me. The reflections are spot-on, a very appealing composition to me.
