I like the fall stage of the various weeds appearing in meadows right now. The sun was backlighting this grouping.

The catch lights in the seed filaments are very attractive, as is the red on the stems. It looks like there may be a bit of chromic noise?? If so, a program like Neat Image or similar could take that out.

Carolyn:
Like the simplicity of this composition. The earthy colors looks really good and the catch light on the filaments are great. Nicely done.

Great light. I like the "lines" within the image.

Great vision and work Carolyn, I like how the two weeds almost are mirror images. Well seen and captured.

I love this, Carolyn! The colors and comp are just beautiful. The leaves arching to the left lend some grace to the "weeds" and the white tufts make a nice contrast. Good symmetry, too, and form echoing form.

Carolyn: More great vision from you and superb light. My only reservation is the blade exiting the frame on the left. I think I would have made this go away in the field or would clone it away in processing. >=))>
