Black-cap

Went out to my favorite local park this week. The only place to find any birds these days. I put out feed for these chickadees and then they forego their food to accompany me on my walk through the woods. They really are very social little birds.

The backdrop for this is a rusted barbeque.

Nikon D300s, 300 mm lens, tripod, f4, 1/2500.

Thanks for looking and critiques appreciated.

May

Real nice, May. Super sharp on the face and the pose is nice, too. Sharon

Chickadees are so cute. Excellent pose for this one with the lifted wings. You have such excellent detail here. Nice complimentary background by your BBQ pit.

Good looking chickadee -- stands out well against the background. I like how the perch leads your eye into the picture

Hello May ! Great shot, with amazing detail, sharpness and colors. Bird and perch are just excellent. If it is a crop, maybe a little bit more room would work for me, but that's just a tiny nit  , Well done ! :toast:

May, the barbeque worked well here! Wonderful background colors to compliment this very simple composition, and the lichen on the branch is a great accent. Very nice.
