Just had a play with the new lump this afternoon - not exactly the best scene in the world.

1/1250th @ f11
ISO 100
D3 + 24mmPCE
0.6 + 0.9 ND grads

A little 'down tilt' - 3 images shot full left shift, center and full right shift then stitched 'auto' in Photoshop - image is roughly 16mm equivalent AoV.

Just after I finished the exposures the clouds just dropped and I couldn't see more than 40 feet! It's the approaching cloud that took on this strange yellow colour - ya see some funny 'stuff' in the Peaks.

As you say not the best scene... 'tilt down' a little bit of Scheimpflug?... the wide view looks more natural this way IMO, looking forward to seeing the new lump being used on some good scenes...

A bit of Scheimpflug before you turn in for the night Phil

I'm bowled over Phil by the huge difference between this 24mm and the 24mm end of my 14-24mm - as different as chalk and cheese.

Yes mate I need to give this lens a hammering over the next few months to get some landscape stock that's a bit different from the norm.

maybe not the best scene in the world Andy but the interesting light certainly makes it a very attractive image. I've always been intrigued by T+S lenses so I look forward to seeing more.

Very Turneresque. A walker on the path is all that is missing

:wavey: not the best scence, possibly, but as ever superbly taken and emaculately presented :toast: :toast:
