Oak Etchings

A photograph I made two years ago on a frosty Autumn morning, recently found and reprocessed. I liked how the morning sun was illuminating the scene. Larger version provided for your viewing pleasure

I don't photograph these intimate little scenes as much as I'd like to so your thoughts and critiques are sincerely appreciated!

I'm working on a small project similar to your photo regarding subject matter, so this beautiful intimate motivates even more. Nicely done, Zack!

Thanks for showing us once again, that you don't always need the great views to get wonderful shots.

Beautiful capture Zack - reminds me of puzzle pieces. The rim ice gives it a nice touch - well done.

Detail in the larger view is wonderful. Hope you don't have rake thes! A delicate shot, the warm light on the crystals is really nice.

Zack I like the frost-rimmed leaves, it adds a sense of texture to the image.

I've attempted some of these oak leaves before, and this is about as good as it gets IMO. Like your tight perspective. Love the detail.

There is a lot to look at in this simple close-up (especially in the large version). The exposure is perfect and captures all the obvious and subtle textures and colors. Frost is definitely "icing" on the cake. Very nice, Zack!
