Sunset- Cheyenne Bottoms

I hurried out to Cheyenne Bottoms, central Kansas, after work today. I had no doubt that sunset would bring a treat, and I wasn't disappointed. I've shot all around Cheyenne Bottoms, but hadn't tried this spot before, but it felt right tonight. The clouds were almost featureless until the sun dropped below them, when they lit up and revealed lots of patterns. The bubble clouds were actually better a couple minutes earlier, but I was down at water level, and I like this point of view better I got after scrambling back up the bank. I cloned out 2 barely visible radio towers on the horizon. 7D, f/8, ISO 400, 1/100, small crop, C&C always welcome and appreciated.

Certainly a nice colorful sunset. Compositionally, not a portfolio topper, but still appealing to view.

What Chris said, but awesome sunset and great job on the exposure! I think a little more fg (and definition in the water/waves) might have put this over the top.
