Falls Fallen

Shot last week in the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains along Upper Twin Lake out of Bridgeport.

Single exposure, masked to reduce highlights a bit and to accentuate texture.

Thanks for any comments.

The strong focus on a single leaf makes this work, I think. Creates a nice separation.

Fine texture in the large version makes this for me.

Real nice detail, muted tones and feel of early morning (no idea what time you made the image). Well done.

Guy, you show these leaves at their best in my opinion. Wonderful subtle lighting, fine natural colors and overwhelming details to my eye.
