This time nature performed the composition. Rambling through the Danube Floodplains in Lower Austria today afternoon I found this fleeting moment just at dusk.

Very nice Peter! To be honest, I think the real shot is in a square crop of only the leaves and the reflection - excluding the shore. To me that makes a very compelling shot!

I agree with Wayne. This image is nice as is but the crop he suggests really kicks it over the top

This is very nice Peter. A wonderful feel and very pleasing image that I enjoy looking at. The foreground fall leaves look great and I especially like the reflection of the trees in the water. I like it just as you composed it but I also think Wayne's crop thought would make a very strong image. Very nice work!

Very real, and very easy to look at. I like the subtle layering here and how reflection provides a focal point. I actually like the way you cropped it just fine.

I agree with Wayne too. For me, all of the interest and appeal of this image is in the reflection and the leaves in the foreground. The trees and the far embankment of the river do not add much to the composition I think.

This is a beautiful image, Peter. Bu I agree with the crop suggestion. But it's good as is but I think it would be even stronger when cropped.
