Sandhill
by Bill Leggett
From reports I had read earlier, I was a little concerned that the migration numbers might be low due to higher temps, drought and low corn crop yield, but was pleased to find out that Bosque is doing quite well, with about 10,000 Sandhills, 47,000 light geese and even more ducks. I've never had much success with BIF images, but was pretty pleased with this one, from earlier this week close the noontime light. Cropped for comp, larger image included.
