Fall Water Falls
by Walt Sterneman
Hi everyone. Sorry that I have been away for a while. My wife and I have spent the greater part of the last month or so getting moved into our retirement house and are just now getting settled. We did have time to do the east coast fall leaf tour and I have a few shots I want to post from that trip.
This first one is of the middle falls at Letchworth State Park in NY. It was taken in broad daylight so I had to work on the high contrast a bit.
I found the recommendation for this stop from someone on this site and it was spectacular!

3 commentsI like the look and view up the river and the splash of fall color. Even though the foliage at the bottom kinda blocks the view of the river at the bottom, it doesn't bother me too much. What is unfortunate is the blank sky in the bg. OF course there's nothing you could do about it, but sure would have been nice to have some patchy clouds a touch of blue sky. Oh well, we can't have everything. But I like your composition and view. And the light striking in the background puts the focus right where it needs to be.
