Golden Fern

I found the tones and details of this withered, glistening fern very beautiful. It was literally shimmering....I hope I did it justice. How does the composition work? I waas going for something a little more graphic....I'm not sure I'm satisfied. Oversaturated? I deleted the first offering and reposted after taking the reds down some. Time to recalibrate.

Bruce: Looks pretty darn good to me and the frame filling comp works for me. I like the color palette. The larger version must be viewed. Did you use a polarizer? I actually like the amount of sheen on the leaves which seems just right. Very well done.>=))>

This has fantastic presence, Bruce - I have never felt so close to a fern ! The composition works fine for me - would not know for sure about the saturation but to my eye this looks good; it has the smell of autumn about it !

Lovely texture, shape, tone and sheen on these leaves. May work in B&W as well.
