This is from a return visit three weeks after this image was taken. Both were shot from the same vantage point and at approximately the same time of day.

What a difference between the two. This is much more somber, and the refllection is so nice. Both are beautiful, but I think I prefer the first one.

I agree with Lon, both are beautiful, David. I enjoy looking at these so much. The colors and details are just amazing to me. These panoramic formats look like they would make beautiful prints! I like both of these alot and it is quite interesting to see the 3 week difference. I enjoy these colors very much, but think I like the reflection and misty look of the water a bit better in the earlier one. Both are wonderful!!...and it is nice you have both.

Wonderful change. I like both images equally well. They have different moods, but the colors are wonderful in both.

Both are stunning David, but the first one has a bit more appeal to me.

Very muted and subdued. I like the almost abstract quality of this one but I prefer the other version as it has more life and depth.

This is awesome. Love that rust color in the cypress. The composition is spot on, with just a hint of the reflection.

This is a great grouping and it works beautifully with the pano format. Can't say I can pick one over the other. The first one has that dreamy fog, this has the red color. I'd be tempted to do a 4 season series with this one.

Gorgeous pano David. More impressive in the larger size and I know this will be a knockout in a large wall print. Just right with the balance between the trees and water/reflection. Beautiful work.

Quite the difference between the two. And I like the previous one more. I felt a bit simpler. But I think a fair judgement can only be done with two large prints next to each other.

This is a fantastic shot, but I like the other one a little better. the mist on the water and the variety of autumn color in the cypress give the other image a slight edge for me. Both are really, really nice though!

They are both gorgeous, I really like the fog in the first one, but the reflection and stronger color here are slightly more appealing.

The first shot has a lovely ethereal look to it with the mist, but I prefer this one because of the subdued color tones, and more defined reflections. I'd certainly be happy with either in my portfolio! Very nice work.

Another superb pano, David. Love the rusty colors in the trees and gracing the water or shoreline in the background. I would be hard pressed to say for certain which I preferred, this or your previous. Fantastic.

This one works, too, but the original colors have a lot going for them. I like them both for different reasons, but the winner is the first one. Dang, you really do a great job with this place.
