5D II, 17-40L, .5", partial polarization (I didn't want to remove too much of the light from the water)

After a couple of hours during my day in the narrows light clouds developed which killed most of the glow light. On my way out I couldn't resist this scene, where both the sandstone and the water sweep toward the Cottonwoods.

Really nice. This image has lots of Kinetic energy! You almost feel swept into it.

I love how the water swings your eye around the entire image. The fall foliage is like the cherry on top. Great work.

Oh yeah! This is a great angle...the rush of the water really does pull me into and around the scene. Nice exposure and tones. :toast:

Well composed and great scenery with clear corners. The yellow tree supports the depth of the image. For me its one soft side and one hard side which I like. The background cliffs ends a beatiful scene. Jut lovely Taylor. :toast: :toast:

I like shooting Zion under softer light as well. This image shows why. Nicely composed.

Sweet image. There is a magenta or red cast to it overall.

Taylor,

This is another fine image from the Narrows. The composition is very successful as it comes across just as you thought it would - both the water and cliffs do lead the eye to the cottonwoods. I like the water treatment too - seems a nice balance between action stopping and smooth silk; nice texture in there too. Well done all the way around.
