Eatin' Berries

My dad had gone into town to run a few errands and when he got back he told me that he had seen some waxwings. We quickly hopped in the truck and drove to the spot. After getting set up my dad saw a Downy Woodpecker. While he started photographing the Woodpecker I saw a Waxwing land on a branch with berries. I quickly put the camera to my eye and managed to get my first shot of a Bohemian Waxwing eating berries! I'm very happy that it turned out nice and sharp! I have more waxwing images to come along with some different bird species.

Thanks for viewing!

Jenaya I have yet to get one of these. Nice bird behavior but a shame to have the oof berries in front.

Jenaya: You are truly blessed with photography. This is very pretty. What a nice shot. I agree about the idea of a Christmas card. The only thing that bothers me a little is the OOF berries in the foreground, but not much you could have done about it. Nicely captured.

Hey, Jaye! Man this is a beautiful Waxwing image. I still can't believe you got this given the mere milaseconds he gave you before flying. You did an exceptional job in finding a hole in the branches and absolutely nailing the focus. The colours and details are exceptional, and your timing could not have been better. Congratulations! (I'm jealous!)
