First I would like to say thanks to everyone for your comments on my last image, I really appreciate your feedback!

This shot was done a few minutes before my other recent post called "Shadow Paint". I really enjoyed working with the drifts and shadows that morning... seemed to just clear my mind. I'm not quite sure how this one will be received, but I quite like it! I find that it is very simple at first glance but seems to get a little more complicated the more you study it. Would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks for looking.

It was a little windy so I had to maintain a decent shutter speed to minimize blurring of the branches as they vibrated in the wind.

The whites are handled very well in this image. I like the simple composition also.

Wayne, I'm a bit torn on this...I like the simplicity and composition and the processing is fine...but my eye is looking for something a bit more dominant, bouncing from branch tip to branch tip. Maybe that conflicts with the serenity I feel from this picture too

The shadows and texture do enhance this well..

lines are good in this - particularly the diagonals.

This is working for me. I am really enjoying the snow patterns, which are nicely accented and held together by the plant branches and shadows.

I like it. Everyone around here is always trying to beat each other over the head with ridiculously epic beauty, it is nice to be reminded about the simpler, subtler side of nature. Nicely done Wayne!

Gorgeous scene Wayne. Wonderful detail in the snow but the branches and their shadows are simply delightful.
