I did not know for sure if the Blue Birds had any young in the nest until one day I caught sight of this little fellow looking as if he was calling for his mama (or his daddy)! I was very lucky to have been there and watched as he emerged and began his life!

This is just gorgeous, Carlette. What a wonderful image! The details are just right, and the narrow depth of field adds to the softness of those little feathers. The composition is just right, too. Excellent work!

Great job of being ready and making a top notch capture. That yellow bill really stands out....makes it easy for mom/dad to poke food into it in the dark nest.
