While on a photo tour in Monument Valley we camped on top of Hunt's Mesa. It was a dream come true to be there.

This brings me memories of my trip there. Great trip but Tom sure doesn't know how to cook a steak.. This is some great dramatic light. Nice to see one at a longer focal length to limit the view to a smaller number of rock features..

Welcome to NPN and the Landscape Gallery! Wonderful first post here; the light sweet and golden. What is special about the light here is how it's striking just about every part of the landscape; from the little sliver in the foreground all the way to the far tower and even the mountains way in the back. The mid tones may be a bit on the dark side, but that's a matter of personal choice here. I think you've captured a winner!

The light here is really nice and I like the darker processing. I might like just a bit more room at the top but this is quite nice.
