Today was a good day for the Christmas Bird Count in Anza Borrego. At sunrise I found a twosome of Leconte's Thrashers having a singing contest.

Nice looking capture. I like the perch, background and pose. I'd look at cropping off some of the top.

Hey Charlie, I've missed you around here. The thrasher looks very good with plenty of detail, nice and sharp, pleasant background and good eye contact. Enough DOF to get most of the perch sharp. A species I'd love to encounter. Well done.

Nice to see a familiar bird, Charlie! This is one of my favourite Anza Borrego birds. Nice shot! I also think that taking some off the top might be worth a try.

Cool!! Beautiful bird and setting! I've tried to get one of these the few times I've been down in the SW, but have had no luck. I'm glad to see a nice clear photo of one.
