Quintessential coastal Maine / New England.... This image was taken in 1993 from the Camden Hills, in Camden, Maine obviously in autumn. Thanks for having a look and as always, your comments and critiques are welcome and appreciated.

Kodachrome 64 Medium Format Transparency
Mamiya 645
Mamiya 210mm

Scanned with an Epson V750 and Silverfast 8 Ai software with their ICC profiles for Kodachrome. Also used a Better Scanning adjustable holder with ANR glass.

Gotta love that Kodachrome. Wish I still had some in my freezer and a lab available to process it.

Boy what a coastal Maine autumn image! Certainly evokes memories of past falls with the vibrant colors and perspective. Haven't seen this view in a while. Must be Mt Battie: Locale for a scene from the movie Peyton Place. Glad you got the obligatory church steeple in, too.

Classic view. The sailboats in the harbor are beautiful in the nice light.

Wow...Kodachrome 64, does that bring back lots of memories. I don't think I could count the rolls of that I have shot.
Beautiful picture and wonderful view Eva. Looks just like the kind of place I would really enjoy. This kind of reminds me of the tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula at Copper Harbor in Upper MI and on Lake Superior. A wonderful view!

Wow Eva, I was on this cliff in October this year and took this exact same image! The trees were not at their peak yet so I have not even processed the picture, but it just goes to show that great minds think alike. BTW, it has not changed one bit!

Eva, beautiful fall foliage and a lovely scene. Those reds are a big part of what makes fall in New England so special. The blown out whites in the buildings on the left say a lot about how much of an improvement digital imaging now offers.

I haven't been to New England since 2000. This image encourages me to return.
From your vantage point it's hard to beat a small town NE scenic in autumn.

Beautiful scene and the detail is superb! To my eye, it seems to have a slight bluish tint to it. Especially in the upper half.
