Happy Again

Thank you all for the feed back on my previous image. I still have two others from the coast that I will post soon but I wanted to post the next few photos for Lon.

I have thoroughly been enjoying his Yosemite Chronicle series and I was there ahead of him by just one week. It has been amazing to see the drastic change in the park in such a short span of time.

This location in the park is special to me and a place that both Lon and I call a Happy Place. This past autumn was probably the best I have ever seen it there along the Merced. The colors were popping there and as the weather was relatively dry compared to other times I have been there the colors really came through.

4x5, 150mm, f32, 12 sec, Fuji Provia 100f, 85b warming filter.

Your feedback much appreciated.

This so perfectly captures the beautiful forest floor of the valley. The green ferns, the granite boulders, the silky river, the autumn trees- great job with this one Youssef.

A Happy Place indeed. Looks like classic riparian Yosemite Valley, and brings back some personal fond memories. Nice, really nice.

Beautiful image Youssef and thanks so much for thinking of me. It is indeed a special place. This spot just seems to be the place that keeps on giving...

Great mix of colors including the autumn warmth and the greens of the ferns. Nice balance between the stream and forest too.

One of these times we might just hit this place at the same time. Maybe this spring?

Looks great, Youssef. So much happening here, but there is still a since of control.

This is really nice. A beautiful scene, with great timing- very well captured. Nothing I could see to improve on. This would look lovely on a wall.
