CANON 50D
50-500 SIGMA
ISO 400
1/400 ֲ F8
At the St Lucia estuary in South Africa this hippo was splashing around and making noises
I couldnt see anything out of the ordinary and when I uploaded to the computer I saw the RED FISHING LINE tangled in her mouth.
She has the strength to break the line but not before it cuts into her skin causing damage
 :frown:

I hope it makes it out of this situation alright. This does bring to light what can happen when fishermen are careless w/ their lines.
