Not sure what is wanted, but I will take a whack. To become the focus of our attention, spiders or snakes don't need much help. In fact, some people are repulsed by them. My goal here was to capture an inoffensive image that was as pretty as possible. Focus, color, depth of field, and spider charisma are factors that direct the attention of the viewer.

The whites are great and the spider shows up nicely. I do wish I could see more of the spider.

I've never thought of spiders as charismatic. Beautiful and charming, strangely fascinating, and, in this case, a little bit shy would be my take on them. I envy your perfect whites, they make an alluring introduction to your spider. Nice image

Neat shot, Robert! The spider is clearly the intended point of interest here - but I find myself somewhat distracted by the bright yellow on the left and the greens on the right. However, I think those are important elements in the image - so I'm not suggesting that you crop remove them or recompose. Instead, I might consider brightening up the body of the spider - either in PS, or with a reflector if you have an opportunity to shoot again. A bit more light on the subject would help it stand out against the background... making it more prominent in the image. I love the colorful image!
