Succulent

This is a succulent that lives on my windowsill, with Topaz Simplify Painting Colorful as a basis and with Poster Edges applied, plus Levels and Curves and all that in CS5.

I'm especially interested in what you think of the lower left corner, because without being at the very bottom of the succulent you can't really get a good base for a foundation for the composition, and this was the best I could come up with otherwise.

Comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Barbara,

Great colors and flow. I could see this printed up on a giant canvas in the hotel lobby of a posh Caribbean resort. I understand your concerns about the LLC, but that may have a grounding effect. If you were to lose that, the motion to the right might be a bit too strong and cause the eye to wander off the image. I see the LLC as an anchor, not a compositional flaw. Great Image!

Barbara, this is beautiful. The colors are just gorgeous. I think you did a great job of finding a base in the LLC. I can imagine that wasn't easy. :toast:

This is great and the lower left corner is perfect. It provides a starting point for all of the flowing curves. The different colors and textures work well to keep my eyes moving.
