I like his position in the frame, his stance, perch and the surrounding enviroment. Only suggestion would be to selectively sharpen the anhinga to bring out more detail in the feathers and the eye area. :wavey:

I, too like the pose and comp. However it does look a bit soft to me. A little shadow adjustment to bering out more detail in the bird would help as well.

Cool image, Scott. It looks like it's trying to figure out what's on its beak. Great light and I love the lines of the neck.

I like the composition & it's neat to see his big webbed feet gripping a perch! The eyes seem a little bit soft & the image is a little bit flat...maybe it could be lightened a little bit with a bit of contrast? Anyways it is very nice overall & those are minor things to fix.

As already stated it looks a little bit soft even if the light is good. the large image shows a halo on the rear part of the neck and some artifact in the BG part under the bill. From compositional point of view I like it.

cheers, Luca

I like the comp Scott, but to me the image as a whole is a bit too dark. I would bring up the exposure if this were mine.

Great pose and perch, Scott. That head turn is great. Although I usually like to see elements of the environment, the grass is a bit strong in the composition here, taking my attention away from the Anhinga.
