We had some nice weather and light yesterday afternoon out at Farmington Bay WMA here in Utah, and I found a couple great egrets near a small portion of open water. This one came close and I was able to get a few shots as it flew around looking for a meal.

Nice job getting this difficult shot, I like how the wings shadows comes across the body, way to go.

I like the sharpness of the entire bird, good exposure and the position of the right wing. I still haven't seen one of these birds out there this year but then I haven't been there often lately.
