Weathered prairies farmhouse, built in 1915. Shot in Hi-key as winter was slow to arrive here and I had pictured this in snow , Hi-key also so as not to detract from the weathered state of the wood.Converted in Lightroom. There are not as many flora subject here in the dead of winter so have had to switch gears to abandoned farmhouse as there is no shortage of those here on the frozen prairies !
Spot metered
f8
1/60 sec
ISO 200
Exp.Com. +1.7
50mm lens

I hope this is the right gallery for this shot, was not sure if it qualified here or photo art !

Lorna, I like this as a hi-key image though you might consider putting a thin frame around it to separate the image from the white background of this site. The weathered wood is especially nice IMO.

Cool old farmhouse Lorna, love the weathered desolated look..
Almost 100, and the passage of time & neglect is plain to see.
I might adjust using curves, by pulling it down from the center line to + your contrast a tad :wavey:

Very intriguing shot. I would be curious to see what your original idea would look like with snow falling all around.

Very cool! Love the processing. Putting on my moderator hat for a moment.....just a reminder that the "hand of man" should only occupy 25% or less of the frame. A unique image!

I really really like this the high key look really convinces me of the aged appearance.
