Nice one Andy !! Great birds.
Mr M will like this -
Cheers
John
PS Thinking back you might get a tiny bit more in the blacks. There's a programme called image guru which I use and its great. You should be able to do it in PS though .No big deal. Big version great.

A keeper! An interesting interaction between the two birds. The detail is very good! For the sake of balance, I would be tempted to add another sliver on the right and maybe even the bottom. It just feels a little tight to me.

Pretty cool interaction that you've captured here. Nice work getting both so sharp and one with the bill open. :toast:

You did pretty well with the black! Nice interaction of the birds! I know it is a largely colorless scene but did you also remove a little?

The interaction makes the shot. Exposure looks good and I like the frosty grass and one open bill. Good light in both eyes too.

Most interesting interaction, and both birds sharp too. The frosty grass is a most effective setting.
