I believe this is a Daisy Fleabane wildflower; it was growing in a meadow near my house.

Canon Rebel T1i. 90mm macro lens. F/7.1 for 1/200 sec. ISO 400

Carolyn: What a great shot! I especially like the buds and how that one just can't wait to get out in front. Exceptionally good DOF management and the BG is just right for my tastes. :toast: :toast: >=))>

It sure is a Fleabane flower, Carolyn  - beautiful framing of the main bloom by the buds and the lightness in the background in the direction of the bud moving up is also pretty cool.

Good Work

That's a better view of Daisy Fleabane that I've had in real life, guess I'll have to put on my readers and take a closer look next summer. The details and the soft pinks in the opening blooms are really terrific.

Lovely image of these little flowers. perfect bg and the colors are excellent. I really like the buds. Garden books always tell you to plant in groups of at least three, apparently, it works well for floral images as well. Very nice
