Cheyenne Bottoms sunrise

I took this the morning before my last post. I am not sure about the color of the ice, but nothing I have tried has made it look any better. To me, it looks too purplish, but perhaps this is a combination of a clear blue sky above the clouds mixing with the red glow of the sunrise. Does the ice look ok? If not, any suggestions on correcting the color? 7D, ISO 400, f/8, 1/640, 141 mm with small crop. C&C always welcome and appreciated.

Rob, it looks fine to me. The sunrise colors seem just fine, and I do not find the color of the ice to distract from the overall image. I think you did a good job getting details in the sky and on the ice in this situation. TFS.

I like this Rob, and think it well captured. Good job, in my opinion.

Nice layers and colors but I think your last post is more dynamic with the birds, reeds, and reflections.

Colors look good to me....and I love the light and the texture of the ice.
