A nice action shot, Neil. A good pose and well controlled whites. The image seems a bit soft, probably due to the fineness of the feathers.

Very nice quail shot, living in Tucson I am just not use to seeing these types of quail in snow as we have Gambel's all around us, so this is a really interesting setting. The larger image has very nice detail and I like seeing the foot raised, way to go.

Pretty cool shot Neil. I would prefer to see more room at the bottom as well. Love the foot with the flying snow

nice, Neil--neat to see a quail in the snow. I like the pose and setting, and might try a little shadow/highlight adjustment to try to bring out a little more detail in the black throat. cool shot.
